The channel been completely remove from freeview it been on there for so long.

I'm not completely sure, but I think it was 2004 when TVX began on Freeview. Whatever the exact date it was certainly there for a long time.
They may have retired from Freeview, but at the same time they launched an HD channel on Sky, the first ever HD adult channel in this country.
