Set Design(s) - hornball - 05-06-2019 14:40 A lot of people (including me - yes) have had quite a bit to say about the sets (for me - particularly at S66) which are dreadful! What would you put in place if you were in charge of deciding this?? For me they have to be more 'natural' as you would find in any of the girls home (or our own) you know the kind of thing Low lighting, living room spaces, bedrooms yes etc, plus camera angles that simulate us being there, rather than being an audience at a strip joint. Something that allows for a change of mood throughout the night. Enough of these manufactured studio spaces, particularly cramped office, and a mattress thrown down in the middle of the studio, with only the red light flashing above the girls head missing! What do you reckon?? RE: Set Design(s) - hornball - 06-06-2019 13:26 So everybody is sweet with the sets these channels put the girls on. Other threads suggested otherwise, but ok RE: Set Design(s) - Dan Volatile - 07-06-2019 02:46 What is there to say except that the STD66 sets are better than the BS ones (plus the lighting and picture resolution etc). I've thrown in the towel with regard to recording Babestation and the only reason I still record 66 is because of their superior soft furnishings - reminds me a bit of Habitat c1985. Personally I think Bang Babes had the best sets - who could forget Cathy Barry on the Greggs Bakery set #sausagerollgate. I am not sure S66 sets are better - maybe equally bad! cramped spaces etc. Ok Babestation have provided more room (not utilised btw), but have done nothing more than thrown the proverbial mattress in the middle of the studio floor and get on with it! Remember RLC?? they came close to getting it right most often. Even Xpanded of today attempt to create a more natural space to be fair! Long and short, they could all do with a makeover! RE: Set Design(s) - GMach1 - 07-06-2019 16:29 SIN TV long since defunct had a garage set I seem to recall and also a bedroom with a big bed. Probably the last time you saw someone like Thai Marder(Mander)? VITTY now, actually go topless. Some of the sets look like they have taken containers usually found at the docks and padded them out. Looks a little cheap. They have been for ages but the channels are only interested in screwing money out of folk so have no interest in investing in new sets. That might involve time, money, imagination and effort and we can't have that We could all sit here suggesting new sets till the end of eternity and indeed we have, across various threads but nobody listens because fundamentally nobody at the channels gives a toss . The rinse brigade mentality has well and truly gripped both babes and channels . Nobody cares because nobody has to . They are all succeeding in ripping everybody off and not giving a stuff about the consequences. May as well stick em all on boring bed sets forever more just to make me even more miserable and pissed off than I already am . RE: Set Design(s) - 2015watcher - 03-02-2020 12:57 Will we ever get new sets I doubt it but they are desperately needed rather than the same sets every day and night that we have had for years. RE: Set Design(s) - ryuken - 03-02-2020 21:11 I'd be happy to see some sets where a presenter can walk around, sit down and lie down. Rather than be stuck in one position for the entirety of her show. But I guess that won't change, due to them always having to have a pervecam stuck between their legs. Ideally I want a variety of sets like RLC and Sin TV had, instead of the current trend of just beds and office chairs. RE: Set Design(s) - Jimmyhazell1984 - 30-11-2023 20:38 The latest Babestation sets look like some 70 and 80s furniture shop were having a stock sale. |
