Looks like both Sky Sports and BT Sport will NOT be broadcasting ANY of the Boxing Day Premier League fixtures this season.
Every single fixture will be on Amazon for the first time on Dec 26 - And all for just £8

I think in the future there will be a PPV option when you can watch any game for £10, even the 3pm games on a Sat.

It's only a matter of time before streaming moves into live broadcasts and sports in particular. 5G will make this more of a likelihood as it will provide a better guarantee on signal quality. Disney are starting their own streaming service and since they just purchased Fox that broadcasts NFL and are the majority owner of ESPN, I wonder if its streaming service will feature live sport action?

No, Sky are happy because they have got slightly more matches than previously. Last season they had 126, next season it will be 128.

I'm wondeirng how many more will switch their subs from sky to BT for the new season can see the BBC OR ITV both making joint bids with either BT or with sky in future bidding to get live PL matches on Free to air. I'd love to see some PL fixtures become so called "crown jewels" status so that they can be enjoyed by free to air viewers as well those with BT and sky
