A real sad loss, he was a very talented actor and made some great films especially in the 80s. Of course everybody remembers him from Blade Runner but he was truly terrifying in the The Hitcher., a vastly underrated film.

Will obviously remember Rutger for his role as Roy Batty in Blade Runner, but also for his appearances in those classic Guinness commercials in the early 1990’s.

It was only the other night I was watching Hobo with a shotgun.
In my opinion though, The Hitcher was his greatest film.
