Boxer Patrick Day has tragically passed away after a super welterweight bout with Charles Conwell in Chicago on Saturday night.
He suffered brain injury and was put in an induced coma but has sadly now lost his fight for life.
Conwell was clearly deeply affected in the aftermath of the contest. He wrote an emotional letter to his opponent.
Thoughts go out to Conwell.
Above all though sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Patrick Day.
