posting animated gifs help - DiduHearThat - 02-06-2009 15:36 anychance someone could tell me how to post them not as an attachment but just under the writing/post ive made ,thanks in advance . RE: posting animated gifs help - ǝʌɐʍǝpɐןq - 02-06-2009 15:46 1) Upload them to an image hosting site like http://www.picsaway.com 2) Click the uploaded image 3) Right Click and select "View Image" 4) Copy and paste the address of the image into the text box 5) Surround the pasted address with (Take out the *) [img]Image goes here[/*img] I can't help you if you use a Mac, though. RE: posting animated gifs help - BigChuck - 02-06-2009 16:00 as said above, use an image hosting site and use the IMG tags, i use http://www.photobucket.com for most things, they don't allow adult stuff though RE: posting animated gifs help - ǝʌɐʍǝpɐןq - 02-06-2009 16:02 Alternatively, you could Google the image, click "See full size image", then BladeWave Wrote:4) Copy and paste the address of the image into the text box RE: posting animated gifs help - DiduHearThat - 03-06-2009 04:36 this probably sounds stupid but what do you mean by surround the address with (Take out the *) [img]Image goes here[/*img], could you give me an example please. RE: posting animated gifs help - ǝʌɐʍǝpɐןq - 03-06-2009 07:18 [img] is a forum code that lets you post images directly onto the forum. But you also need to close the code by typing [/*img] at the end. Notice I put a star symbol in the middle of that one? I did that to stop the forum thinking I was posting an image, you need to remove it. I saved your avatar to my PC, uploaded it to http://www.picsaway.com, clicked the image, right clicked, selected "view image", copied the address at the top, pasted it in the quick reply box, then surrounded it with the image tags. RE: posting animated gifs help - DiduHearThat - 03-06-2009 11:25 people are going to think im abit slow but when i do what you say all i can see is a little red box with an x in it where the pic should be as if it hasn't loaded properly. i thought it might be because of my connection or the fact that i use a ps3, thanks again in advance.....again ps i posted a pic below so if anyone can see it could you say please RE: posting animated gifs help - ǝʌɐʍǝpɐןq - 03-06-2009 11:35 The fact that you use a Playstation 3 may be the problem here. Do you not own a Personal Computer? The url for the image is http://www.motor.com/images/ih8k5hn2csoec5uvx1to.jpg Using the correct image url, it would show like this: |
