Green Lantern series is being developed by Greg Berlanti (Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman), coming soon to HBO Max.

On HBO max so it should have a big budget that can do it justice visually speaking, just hope it's better than the movie in quality

Shame it's on HBO max though, as that's apparently not coming to the UK unless Sky's existing deal with HBO lets them show it.

Actor Jeremy Irvine has been cast the Green Lantern Alan Scott and Superman and Lois director Lee Toland Krieger will be directing the first two Eps.

The Lanterns has been given a straight series order from HBO and will be given 8 Eps for its first season
The Synopsis is as follows:
Chris Mundy (True Detective: Night Country, Ozark) will serve as showrunner and executive producer on Lanterns. Damon Lindelof (The Leftovers, Watchmen) and Tom King (Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow) are co-writing the series with Mundy and also serve as executive producers

According to The Hollywood Reporter Actor Kyle Chandler is set to play the Green Lantern Hal Jordan.

Actor Aaron Pierre has been cast as the Green Lantern John Stewart, his strange to the DC Universe he was in the short lived series called Krypton.
