The actor Kirk Douglas has passed away aged 103, a true legend from back in hollywoods heyday. His most memorable and iconic role was that of Spartacus in one the best films ever made.

103? Wow! that's a great age. I AM SPARTACUS!! A great legendary actor, unfortunately the list grows and will be seen on the Oscars next week.

One of the biggest lights in Hollywood has gone out RIP to A true acting legend and condolences to Michael Douglas & family. He deserves a great tribute at the Oscars (I think he only won one) and Spartacus remains on one of my favourite films as well Gunfight at the OK Corral superbly portraying Doc Holliday

In 1986 Kirk was invited onto the stage at a pre-Commonwealth Games event in Scotland(held in Edinburgh that year) and for some reason sang "I belong to Glasgow" I am not sure why and it was to say the least excruciating to listen to almost embarrassing. Aside from that he was a hell of an actor.
