Should all PL/EFL matches be now played behind closed doors? - lovebabes56 - 06-03-2020 08:30

In the wake of the Italian Minister's announcement that Serie A matches are to be played behind closed doors this weekend and for gthe next two months, should the PL/EFL/FA adopt the same position in an attempt to complete the season?

The PL should be declared null and void but the Championship should be declared over now and the top 2 teams promoted Big Grin

Is it a local derby with Huddersfield today with so much at stake then?

I think it would be great to see Leeds back in the PL how long has it been - 15 years?

Would be i would love to see them back but they just can't seem to get over that final hurdle can they there is also sides that haven't been in the Prem for years that i would like see back in sides like Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday.

Anyway on to the topic i think the PL/EFL will only be played behind closed doors if the Coronavirus is really bad but in saying that there already is a couple games in other countries being played behind closed doors.

Wouldn't bother me if they were played behind closed doors, might actually take a bit of pressure off the players with the situation we're in. Bottled it last year and i think pressure on the players played a part. Every game is big now not just today. We're fairly comfortable though. Top of the league, 7 points clear of the play offs with 9 games to go and 3 of those 9 are against the shittest teams in the league, barnsley, luton and charlton. 5 wins in a row now and haven't conceded a goal in all 5. We're finally on our way out of this league

Since the title is all but won I suppose you could but should only happen if we get to situation we have seen in Italy

Bollocks to that mate. If you’re advocating the PL being declared null and void, then likewise for the Championship, keep youse lot down there for another season Tongue

i suppose you'd now like the CL to declared null and void as well....
