Lead singer of folk-punk band The Men They Couldn't Hang has passed away from a heart attack. Only 60.
Think of them as an english version of The Pogues and you'll get the vibe.
Remember them well, had a couple of biggish hits at the time, and were pretty big on the indie-alternate scene. Don't recall seeing them live, but had several of the albums (back in the vinyl days before CD's
), which got well used and abused. Probably in my top 10 favourite bands at the time.RIP.
