My all time favourite fighter, the boxer who started my life long love of boxing.
The latest news says he died after having a serious reaction to the Covid vaccine.

Absolute legend of the ring. I can remember hating him when he stopped Alan Minter in 1980 but grew to respect him more and more with the passage of time...then came THAT fight against Thomas Hearns!

Can remember Alan Minter’s face being absolutely cut to ribbons by Hagler, don’t think I’ve ever seen a fighter so badly cut up since, was as if Hagler had razor blades in his gloves!...then beer cans flying into the ring at the end of the fight.

don'th think there will ever a better 1st round in any fight than that one with Hearns which is legendary Hagler never stopped forward in that 1st round taking the fight to Hearns.
