When he hit the ball, it was the most powerful that I've seen. RIP to an excellent footballer and person.

Norman Hunter, Jack Charlton, Trevor Cherry and now Peter Lorimer all gone in the last few months.

I saw all of them play and Lorimer was the best striker of a football in his day.

Record goalscorer for the club & a Club Ambassador until his death he even had his own page in the matchday programme until last month when he became too ill.

RIP

A great man & a fantastic player. Known as Hot-Shot or Lasher, he didn't score many boring goals, I reckon he was the best vollyer of a football ever. So sad to lose another Leeds United Legend.

RIP

Had one of the fiercest shots of any player. I remember him spoiling one of my Christmases once when in a tight Boxing Day match against my team he unleashed a shot from twenty plus yards to win the game.

RIP Peter.

Yes, I thought there'd been a lot lately. Just saw a trail for a new BBC doc on Jack Charlton.

Anyway, another giant talent gone Sad RIP
