Saqib Mahmood is making his Big bash debut & had the amazing figures of 2-0-9-4, before he got hit for a couple of sixes in his next over. Bowling with good pace, how England have overlooked this man floors me, especially when you consider how ineffective Woakes has been. Mahmood has all the skill to be a success in Test Cricket, a missed opportunity.

Ben McDermott of the Hobart Hurricanes has smashed his second century in as many matches. A blistering knock of 110 not out against the Adelaide Strikers on Monday has been followed up with an even more ridiculous barrage of 127 today against the Melbourne Renegades.

One of the news channels followed a report of England's 68 all out with the news that Sam Billings made 67 runs all on his own.

Billings, Garton, Mahmood, Mills, Topley, & Vince have been pulled out from the competition, returning to England on the 7th, in order to prepare for the West Indies tour.

Pakistan bowler Mohammad Hasnain took 3 wickets in 4 balls in a memorable Big Bash debut match for him.
It helped his Sydney Thunder team to a comfortable victory over Adelaide Strikers.

Joe Clarke made 83 from 58 balls as opener, with 3 fours & 4 sixes, as the Stars beat the Strikers in the bottom of the table clash.

Glen (The Big Show) Maxwell made the highest BBL score, with 154 no from 64 balls. The Stars 273-2 was also the highest BBL team score, & 3rd T20 total ever. Maxwell hit a record 22 fours, beating the 20 made by Ahmed Shehzad & Adam Lyth. Maxwell's century came off 41 balls, 2nd fastest in BBL history with Craig Simmons coming off 39 balls.
