His appearance in 'The Hotel Inspector' episode of Faulty Towers was one of the classics of comedy.

"Right said Fred" is my fsvourite single and my favourite on Junior choice He was brilliant in the Dalek invasion Earth film and carry on films. A Posthumous knighthood has to be bestowed on him and is a mystery why he was never knighted, but I suspect he may have had reasons if he ever turned it down.
