King Charles III - lovebabes56 - 08-09-2022 20:03

The reign of King Charle III has begun. God Save the King

But what will His Majesty bring to to the role as our new Head of State?

He won't be as free to speak as he's been used to. I can see plenty of foot in mouth moments ahead.

^ I am not so sure! King Charles will know the parameters he can work to, he is not an unintelligent man, and he won't want to damage the Monarchy and her majesty's 'legacy' in this regard.

It is well known where he stands on the issues since he wasn't shy about making waves - they speak for themselves. His role has changed now, and he will be fully aware of the restrictions placed on him.

he has said in interview that he isnt stupid and he knows what he can and cannot say when he is king doesnt stop the likes of william and harry saying it

I can't see Charles being a poor or incompetent King. He is extremely capable. He has waited a long time. He is very much capable. William and Harry will stand by Charles III. Long live the King!

Very rarely do I give any praise to politicians being the generally self serving, greasy pole climbing, disingenuous bunch they are.

However I have to praise Penny Mordaunt for a flawless conduction of the accession this morning. Just a few days into her new job landed with a mighty responsibility. Handled it very well with humility and gravitas.

Right then back to slagging off MPs again now Wink.

A parasite, like all the rest of them.

Just think if it had been a week earlier then it would have been Boris and Rees Mogg doing the stuff

noticed an altered video of him supposedly sneering at an aide, it got millions of views, amazing how false the social media is. Never does his charity work get any publicity. A whole village has been built in Cornwall on Duchy land, to be available for locals only.
