Oscar winning actress Louise Fletcher, who was also Kai Winn in Star Trek: DS9 has died aged 88.

Her role as Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest earned her the Best Actress Academy Award. A fantastic character actress and prolific supporter of charities, particularly those working for the deaf.

I remember her for character in Star Trek DS9 she played evil so well a villain you loved to hate. She’ll sadly be missed R.I.P.
