NFL Hall of Famer, & 9-time Pro-Bowler running back Franco Harris has died aged 72. A 4-time Super Bowl winner with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Most famous for making a catch in a game winning Playoff tie against the Oakland Raiders, which became known as the "immaculate reception" When the Steelers meet the Raiders on Saturday, they are set to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception, & the No.32 worn by Harris will be retired.

Dreadful news on the eve of the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception game. It makes the Christmas eve game even more poignant as retiring his Jersey would have meant so much to him and Steelers nation. RIP Franco, RIP
