RIP true legend RE: Pele - Regenerated - 29-12-2022 19:39 RIP RE: Pele - Tractor boy - 29-12-2022 20:33 The word Legend is often used on sports stars who were just very good. Pele is one of a very small group who truly deserve Legendary status. RIP Pele RE: Pele - baywatcher - 29-12-2022 20:44 A true legend. I remember as a child watching the 1970 world cup in Mexico, the only man to win three world cup winners medals. RIP Pele. RE: Pele - Snooks - 29-12-2022 21:26 The Greatest of them all. R.I.P. RE: Pele - lovebabes56 - 30-12-2022 05:28 The saddest news in football we have lost arguably the greatest player of all time. He held the record for most career goals scored untouched for over 50 years until Cristiano Ronaldo overtook him. He also set standards both on and off the football field and earned the respect of those he played against. Football has also lost it's greatest ambassador. That picture of him with Bobby Moore is perhaps the most iconic of him and how he played football. RIP Pele. We will miss you and we will salute you and we will not see his like again. RE: Pele - sandals1963 - 30-12-2022 08:57 Greatest ever player of the game, played in an era when tackling was brutal and relatively un checked by referees. RE: Pele - Tommy826 - 30-12-2022 12:28 Had the pleasure of meeting him once. It was outside Goodison Park in 1966. What a great man, and a great footballer. The very best. RIP Pele. A great loss. Will be sadly missed. |
