newest internet explorer - firekind - 25-06-2009 19:39 since this installed on my computer a couple of days ago my connection has been shite. its speed is just as it usually is - fast to slow as fuck depending on time of day. the connection keeps breaking though and would anyone know if its related or if its just coincidental? im with sky. RE: newest internet explorer - Red - 26-06-2009 03:13 Well as part of what I do I still have to use the four nain rendering engines. IE8 is way better than IE7 as far as rendering is concerned. As a browser though you won't see than much difference and any likely problems over IE7 are likely to be ActiveX plugins running with it or security software related. Don't get me started on Chrome though. As a rendering engine it's good, but then Google didn't design that part. As a browser it is bloody awful and if it didn't have the Google name behind it wouldn't be a serious contender. If you like Chrome, Safari is far better and uses the same engine. Chrome spent less than a week on my system before it got assigned to the trash. So well thought out that Google haven't even bothered to design their own toolbar for it ![]() |
