He probably was a great Chelsea favourite and was a great skilful player. very sad news

Always enjoyed watching the football on Sunday afternoons on channel 4 during the 90s especially if juventus were playing also playing fifa with juventus with the likes of Conte del piero ranvelli plero Buffon etc
Rip to one of the finest Italian players I've watched growing up

Yes that's where I most vividly remember his exploits from.
He was brilliant for Sampdoria scoring shed loads of goals in a notoriously tough league before moving on to Juventus and Chelsea.

As for this season Sampdoria are on quite a downfall and could be relegated to Serie B , hopefully Sampdoria can get out of trouble and do it for Vialli.
