R.I.P Sylvia Syms - Snooks - 28-01-2023 10:16
Bafta nominated actress Sylvia Syms has passed away at the age of 89.
She starred in films such as No trees in the street and Woman in a dressing gown before later moving on to television to play parts in EastEnders and Peak Practice.
In 2006 she played the role of Queen Mother in the Oscar winning film The Queen. Sincerest condolences to family and friends.

She was very good in Ice Cold in Alex filmed when she must have been about 24. RIP

Watching her waiting for a cool Carlsberg to be poured in Ice Cool in Alex is one of the most iconic moments of film history.. RIP Sylvia
