Sad news indeed! I will always remember her for Chris Eubanks entrance song 'Simply the best' and 'Private Dancer' I reckon her influence (when influencers deserved the title and showed the evidence for it) was felt far wider than many think!

She was
SIMPLY THE BEST
Biggest kick in the nuts for music history.

RIP to a legend and voice that will always be remembered

For an old mod like me, since the latter years of junior school in the early 80s, seeing Tina in 'Tommy' on tv, was possibly the first I really became aware of her.

I found some of the film disturbing, but probably not parts that others might.. Suffice to say, I've never liked the look of baked beans....

I've been intending to buy the dvd, to watch it again, but it will be with added sadness, when I do....

I love 'Private Dancer', the album version.

I remember her in Mad Max Thunderdome & loved her Bond theme song too if we're going dowwn that route. Loved her duet with Bryan Adams and John Parr paid a lovely tribute on five live last night.

Sad news Sad

She was always 'the one that got away' for me. We had tickets for Murrayfield back in 96, but something cropped up and we couldn't go.

RIP Tina.
