George Alagiah - RIP - Charlemagne - 24-07-2023 12:14
Sad to here of the death of the BBC presenter and correspondent George Alagiah.
He's worked for the BBC for over 30 years as a foreign correspondent before switching to presenting the BBC 6PM news 20 years ago.
He was 67 years old and had been suffering for years with bowel cancer.

Very Sad! As others have said, he gave the news in a measured matter - of - fact manner, without the need for the current showboating, self - aggrandizing approach!
