Prolific British telly director, worked on the adaptation of Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, some episodes of Ripping Yarns, and then the last 57 (sic) years of Last of the Summer Wine. He died a few weeks back, but clearly didn't make the news. He was 85. RIP
