Former England, Tottenham and Barcelona manager Terry Venables has passed away at the age of 80 after a long term illness.

El Tel was one a select few managers who managed to get an England team to a semi finals in the Euro 96

Terry was one of England's best ever managers , only the knights of Ipswich town, Sir Alf & Sir Bobby did better.
Euro 96 was a great time for English football.

He was the perfect choice for Euro 96 and often wondered could we have had s stronger team in that semi and also what we could have acheived in France 98 with him or today
A respected figure in the British game and nice to see Pep pay tribute to him as well, given his success at Barca.
