US folk singer Melanie Safka, who was most know by her 1st name died on Tuesday at the age of 76.
As a 22 year old she appeared at Woodstock alongside Joan Baez, Jimi Henrix and the Grateful Dead.
I remember owning an LP of hers with her most know records of ‘Brand New Key’ and a cover of the Stones’ classic ‘Ruby Tuesday’.
