Today marks the 80th anniversary of D Day 6th June.
On June 6 1944 Allied forces launched the biggest sea, land, & air invasion of Europe to liberate Europe and push back the tyranny & occupation by Nazi Germany.
We should never forget the ultimate sacrifice & price paid by those brave men who landed on the beaches, dropped from the air and at sea. The commenorations in Normandy today will likely for many survivors of that day, that are alive to us will be the last commemmorations they will attend.
We should thank those while we can, for their sacrifices for the freedoms in the service of their countries they have given us today.
