Starts tomorrow.
The shape and speed of the greens looks like making it quite the challenge for all of the field.

Already obvious that approach shots to the greens are going to demand pinpoint accuracy.
Balls can go wandering off a long distance from the hole. The run offs are brutal.

Excellent start for Rory McIlroy with an opening round of 65 to share the lead with Patrick Cantlay. Ludvig Aaberg is one shot further back and Bryson De Chambeau two strokes shy of the lead. Form player of the moment Scottie Scheffler started with a round of 71.

Rory still in the hunt, a couple of other Europeans in the top 4.
