The thing that is bugging me about this tragedy is how it was first reported. He's clearly been struggling for a while by all accounts, but he has a family and a young son, plus a legion of fans, but the reporting, particularly by TMZ was a fucking disgrace. They have no respect for him or the people in his life, they were only interested in breaking the story as quickly as possible, without caring about anything else.

I wasn't a fan, but that's beside the point, he was only 31, has a young son that will grow up without a father and that is a terrible shame. R.I.P.

Whilst also not a fan of them, their music still touched many peoples lives and their is no denying he was a very talented musician. One can only hope his soul Is resting easy but it is still nonetheless shocking to see someone so young go. It doesn’t actually surprise me anymore to see the media behave without any regard for the passing of someone who has loved ones still alive mourning their loss, how would they like it if someone posted about their passing for millions of people to read about and speculate over every grisly detail. They should be left to the least with their dignity and privacy, but it seems there is no such thing left as this anymore very sad.

TMZ are known for being ghouls. They offer people large sums of money in exchange for crime scene photos and other behind the scenes things. No picture or video is too far for them. I remember when Paul Walker died, they had paid something like $20,000 for a video of the wreckage a few moments after the car he was in crashed. They even posted photos of his visible remains among the wreckage before public uproar made them blur it out.
