Scottish comedian Janey Godley has died a month after she moved to a hospice for end-of-life care.
She was 63 year old and found fame with her dubbed imitations of Nicola Sturgeon's Covid 19 news briefings.
She was also no friend of Donald Trump after she protested against him outside his Turnberry golf course. Her sign telling the politician he was a “c**t.

Janey always made me laugh whenever I saw her on tv, plus loved that she wasn't afraid to speak her mind, especially about Trump

Sad news. Was just thinking about her last night, listening to Ashley's radio show on the way home.
Her response to the terminal diagnosis was to create a stand-up show called "Why is she still here", and a radio comedy series all about her battle with ovarian cancer.

Last year she won the inaugural Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.
