Eddie Stobart the founder of one of the UK’s most iconic lorry firms has died at the age of 95, his family announced.

^ He hadn’t been involved in the business for decades- it was run by his son for many years until he died in 2011. Culina Group own the business now. The death of a previous owner has nothing to do with how lorries are branded.

Eddie sold to his brother Willy donkeys years ago, who in turn sold to Culina 3 (?) years ago... The Brand won't be going anywhere soon.

Can't remember the last time I saw a Stobart lorry. Used to see them all the time.
Even pulled one off a soft verge once after his satnav took him somewhere he should've had the sense not to go.
