Champions Trophy 2025 - Snooks - 22-12-2024 11:44 England squad for Champions Trophy: Jos Buttler (Capt), Jofra Archer, Gus Atkinson, Jacob Bethell, Harry Brook, Brydon Carse, Ben Duckett, Jamie Overton, Jamie Smith, Liam Livingstone, Adil Rashid, Joe Root, Saqib Mahmood, Phil Salt, Mark Wood. RE: Champions Trophy 2025 - Snooks - 22-12-2024 22:06 India will play all their Champions Trophy matches on neutral ground in Dubai rather than in Pakistan. RE: Champions Trophy 2025 - Boomerangutangangbang - 22-12-2024 22:12 ^^ India do what the hell they like it would seem, I'm sick of their controlling ways, not at all healthy for the world game. I never thought I would see myself siding with the Aussies, but I hope they stuff India in this current Test series. RE: Champions Trophy 2025 - Snooks - 22-12-2024 22:27 Money talks unfortunately and the Indian cricket board have more of it than anyone else so consistently get their own way. The home advantage that Pakistan should be having in the group match against India is now wiped out. I can't help feeling if any other nation playing in the tournament had refused to play in Pakistan the outcome would have been different. India should be thrown out the tournament unless they are willing to play in Pakistan. Everyone else is happy to play there. RE: Champions Trophy 2025 - lovebabes56 - 23-12-2024 05:16 ^ Probably the best answer to that is that all India's results should not be recognised for this competition and then they are quickly eliminated. If other countries can agree to play there why the hell can't they agree do the same???. We toured there without any real security incidents so that should have shown that by working with the Pakistan Cricket Board you can play safely. I hope the organisers look at what has happened & they do thr above. That should swipe the smug smile of the Indians' faces and they see the errors of their ways. After the Third was drawn after all that rain, I too now would like to see the Aussies stuff India. Wouldn't surprise me if they are secretly bribing umpires without other teams knowing. It looks very well balanced & I look forward to seeing some decent performances & results.
