New Year's Honours 2024 - Charlemagne - 31-12-2024 12:28
Amongst those who have been awarded with Knighthoods are Stephen Fry, Sadiq Khan and Gareth Southgate....
Yet they have failed to acknowlege Lou Macari and Kevin Sinfield who have both done great things for charity.
Also David Beckham has again been overlooked.
The system stinks.

^Whoever was the bloody chuff who decided to give Khan a knighthood obviously: -
1) Doesn't live in Londdon or even within the radius of the M25 for that matter
2) Doesn't have any respect for the families of the dead kids etc,
3) Has never been in London to see what is really going on
4) If there isn't a petition to make him decline it I hope there is one and however many have signed that if it exists - I damn sure it embaraases/forces Starmer enough to withdraw the knighthood.
The chuff who decided that Khan merits the award needs to be removed from their post - pronto. And if they thought alsio Kevin Sinfield wasn't even deserving of an honour for what he did for his mate Rob Burrows, they also need their heads examined for any sign of a brain existence.(In case it wasactually more than one chuff).
FFS why give even a honour to a knob like Khan when all you're doing is rewarding his failures to make London a safe city??????

Nice to see Tom Baker getting an overdue MBE for services to TV though. He was THE face of Doctor Who in the 1970s all around the world, even to people who never really watched it. At 90 years old now he's still recording audio adventures and witty as ever.
