Oh no, this is a sad one... Sad

Such a prominent film star in the 1980s and 1990s. I loved his performances as Jim Morrison in The Doors and Doc Holiday in Tombstone. Such sad news, after all his battles with cancer in the last decade.

What a shocker - RIP Sad Sad Sad

That's a shame, he's one of those actors that seems to be good in everything, even a flop. I'm the same as you Reg, loved him as Doc Holiday. R.I.P.

He was very versatile and brought his characters to life and I think the pairing of Him and Kurt Russell in Tombstone was a Masterstroke. 65 is young but when you think about it, he has left a great many films as a lasting testament to his talent. He took over the role of Batman in Batman forever from Michael Keaton in 1995. How he never won an Oscar for his portrayal of Jim Morrison in the Doors or for Doc Holliday will always probably remain a mystery.
Condolences to all and R I P Val
