Wow that's a huge hole in Liverpool's side to fill and probably a hard player to replace

Arne Slot I'm sure will be leading Liverpool tributes

RIP and condolences to all concerned

As a Wolves fan this is truly heartbreaking. He was an integral part of the Nuno era in which the club achieved genuine success before his move to Liverpool.
He was a really lovely guy too.
Thank you for the Molineux memories Diogo. Rest in peace Heart.

Very, very sad news indeed. Was in complete shock when I heard about Diogo's passing on BBC Sport. Couldn't believe it. Had his whole life ahead of him & what make this more gut-wrenching, this tragic news comes just 2 weeks after he just got married.

My prayers & condolences to Diogo's family, his friends, Liverpool FC & to everybody that knew him during this very sad time
