advice for gb advance players. - firekind - 22-07-2009 04:09

don't bother.unless its a game you will play for 20 minutes then leave. don't play any pokemon games from the advance era. the batteries are fucked by now. i finished fire red and was about to export the pokemon to platinum when i got the save game file has been deleted message. save yourself alot of effort and either change the batteries before you play or use an emulator.

The battery on my SNES Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past still has my save saved, and that game was bought like 17 odd years ago. Are you sure your Fire Red isn't a fake? I bought one off of ebay for my brother recently and it is a fake, it looks good but you can see the sticker on the front is way too shiny (I compared it to my Leaf Green). And I know from buying fake GBA games from Turkey the batteries in them are fucked, the battery save to some of my games out there were nonexistent, if I saved then rebooted, the save would be gone. And I just checked my Castlevania: Circle of the Moon save, which I got when I got the GBA on day of release all the way in 2001, I am 99% sure I have not played it since that year also and the saves are still there. You must of had a butchered battery dude.
