Refrigeration - a serious long shot.

Now, I'm not to optimistic of there being many domestic appliance engineers on here, but I thoughti'd have a stab here first, before thinking about getting an engineer out to look at it and say, 'can't be fixed 100 of your pounds please'.

I have a problem with my fridge not cooling properly. It seems to cool down to 6 degrees before cutting off and comes on again at 10 degrees, clearly too warm for a fridge.

Freezers works a treat, thermostat seems to work, it's just like the temperature that the fridge kicks into action is programmed wrong - too high.


Like I say not to opportunistic, but worth a stab.

Got me thinking, perhaps other sub sections could be added to this tech area, for help with cars (don't get me started on where the hell do I find a timing mark) or decorating, appliances and so on.

Does the fridge have a dial to alter the temperature? Sometimes these can be hard to spot.

Only the one in the fridge it's self, same even if it's up to max. Unless there's another behind the panels.
