The Walking Dead for those who don't know was released as a download back in April on PSN, XBox Live & PC download (steam stuff like that), It was a episodic game with a total of 5 episodes being released every other month & i have just finished the 5th episode last night.
In the game you play as convicted murderer (it's a long story) Lee Everett, who is on his way to prison when his car is swerved of the road by an oncoming zombie & into a pit, when he finally comes to he manages to escape the police car & find a near by house, after examining the house he finds an 8 year old girl in the treehouse in the garden, Clementine.
It'll be reviewed over three sections story, graphics, feel (how it plays) & will be rated out of 10.
Graphics : The Game is based on the comic by Robert Kirkman, so it makes sense for the graphics to have a slight comic book look to them right ?
The comic like graphics of TellTales top seller make for an original & authentic comic like gaming experience.
Feel : The feel of the game is sometimes slow & "buggy" with a few mouth sync problems, but it is still a fun & entertaining game to play regardless of it's many extremely minor flaws.
Story : For me the story that goes through the game is an EXTREMELY emotional, Action packed & brain teasing experience is a well thought out and creative one. Some parts of the game make you really think about how you're going to go about doing the objective. There are many action packed moments through out the game with the most coming in the last episode of the game on your way to rescue Clementine from her kidnapper.
Overall the game draws you in as the character of Lee & feel compelled to help look out for Clementine as if she was a real little girl, It is a highly emotional ending & in my opinion one of the BEST games ever released & i give it a ...
9.9/10 it would have the extra 0.1 if it weren't for the sometime frustrating lip syncing problems & i HIGHLY recommend you buy if you haven't already as it is a top competitor for game of the year
Please excuse some of the flaws in this review as it is my first review of any kind
