Thoughts to his family

Not an up - to - date TT thread, but need to mark the passing of Daley Mathison today in the first race. So brave of his wife to almost immediately take to twitter to announce his death.

People will say something like 'ban it or time is up' but that is to completely misunderstand this great event, and more importantly the skill and mentality of those that take part. They know what they are doing, and accept the risks. Sympathy to his wife, family and loved ones and from those of us who follow and respect to the max every single one of the men and women who rev it up on the start line of this greatest challenge, you lived it your way Daley. Can't beat that!!
