Saving Images On Phone

I used to be able to save images on my phone now I can't anyone having similar problems?

What kind of images? As far as i know phones will only read Jepg's. Try opening your images in the paint application or irfan view etc then save it as another name. That should work.

Thanks dude it's just pics of the ladies posted on the forum when I used to save them I could open them now I can't seems like maybe a format my I phone can't recognise ?

All the pics on the forum are Jpeg's cause the mods kick peoples asses when they post other formats (good on you mods) .

If it doesn't work after you save the images as a different name, Open your pics in the Paint application then select all & copy the picture & paste it into a new paint file. That should take away any blocks that's on the image, After you've done that & your still having trouble adding the image to your phone I'm really lost.

By the way how do you add the images to your phone through a data cable or memory card? If you do it through a data cable try doing it through your memory card, That's how i do it. I do my own gif files like the Fernanda avatar above.

Your avitar rocks I normally click on an image and get a simple save image option it used to save the pix now I get s block

That's really weird, What browser are you using? I got that sometimes when i used my internet explorer 8 so i changed my browser to firefox & Google Chrome.

Opera is my browser I am not sure why this used to work and stopped.

I have Opera Mini 5 on my touch phone.

Using my phone, I tried saving a pic just now (using a pic on the forum) - it saves a JPG but says "Unsupported".
I then downloaded a pic from Facebook, and it displays on my phone ok (also a JPG.)

The pic from the forum earlier, I had uploaded it, so I connected my phone to my laptop and downloaded the same pic from my laptop's hard drive - displays on phone ok.
Downloading the same pic from the forum to laptop to phone - Again, unsupported on phone.

The image was uploaded to TV Girls Gallery; maybe it's something to do with the way pics are uploaded?

I say that, as I just downloaded a different pic on the forum (uploaded via imagevenue) using my phone Opera browser, and it displays ok.
