Indy 500 is underway!! Currently 35 laps completed out of 200. There is a female driver in the race from the uk called Katherine Legge who is 33rd at the moment

Loose wheel over the fence. Luckily it missed the grandstand and landed in a parking area. No injuries reported so far

Thought it was an very good Indy 500 this year with plenty of drama & twists, especially at the end. Amazing no one was injured in that spectacular crash where a car hit the wall and went upside down & a wheel flew off and just missed the crowd
