Company online chat, your horror stories

I have read today about someone using online chat service to cancel his subscription and the chat lasted for nearly an hour!! I do recall it took me three weeks using Microsoft's online chat to restore my Hotmail account after they put me through a security loop!!

The operator spent thirty minutes using the chat to sales pitch the poor guy and at the end of it all he still wasn't able to cancel!!

I would like to read and hopefully share in this thread your similar stories...
