Judith Kerr - Children's author

The brilliant Judith Kerr who wrote such children's classics as 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea' and 'When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit' which was based on her experiences of the war has died at the age of 95. She dreamed up the tiger of the book to amuse her two children. I remember reading When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit and being Jewish I could relate to how she felt being persecuted for being different. It's a great book even for an adult to read. RIP Judith, your books brought pleasure to millions and inspired others.
