Hosts to avoid for channel content!

Hosts become unreliable for a number of reasons, It could be due to them allowing spammy adverts, or having constant connection issues,
or as we're currently seeing, randomly removing content that may have been reported due to a bogus DMCA request, even though we have
permission to have the content

This list will be added to from time to time when an image or video host becomes a problem. We'll try to include the reason beside the site name.
If we put a host on this list, you can't use it for channel content!. If we tell you you can't use a specific host, you have no choice.
If we have to PM you and say stop using a site and you ignore us, you will be issued a warning!

The list:

http://www.turboimagehost.com/ - removes content too easily.
http://www.postimage.org/ - not for adult content, they have https://pixxxels.cc/ for that.
http://www.imagebam.com/ - unreliable/images are easily killed.
https://www.imagevenue.com/ - unreliable/images are easily killed.

Also, don't use money making hosts, we don't allow them, they will be filtered!

Please use the forum image hosts for channel content, this enables admin to both keep the images up, and he can counter bogus DMCA/take down requests.

It makes sense people, safeguard your channel content!

I thought I'd just remind members of the fact money making hosts are not allowed!
We filter these sites when we see them, meaning your post(s) will no longer work, which isn't great for anyone, so please don't use them.

It's important to remember the following as well, which I feel is relevant. Recording and sharing content is a choice and by becoming part of our forum community it means that if you are willing to share, you should be doing so for free! You shouldn't be looking to profit from sharing or expect anything other than gratitude in return. This also goes for content trading, please don't say you'll only share x, if somebody can give you y, it goes against the spirit of the forum, if you want to do that privately via PM, then that's your choice, but it's not something we want to see.
If you feel you have contributed a lot, but don't feel that your contribution is valued by others, then know that we, the forum team do appreciate you taking the time to post content and comments. We should never undervalue those that take the time to contribute to the chat and discussion, they are a vital part of what makes the forum tick as well.

Finally, please remember to actually thank posts you like, whether it be content, or a well put together post in a discussion thread, or something you find funny, whatever it may be. You should also remember to give a rep point to those the find yourself thanking, it's another form of appreciation, it's nice to be nice
