Yes, same problem for me. I use Tiscali too.
I feel better knowing it's not just me, that's something at least.
I'm entering the forum through babechannels.co.uk for now, so yes we need that alternative link kept open.

no problems to report with virgin ISP, just the quote button still seems to be missing within the threads.

SAME PROBLEM AS YOU LIMPY, SIMPLE VIEW, USED ALL OTHER ADDRESSES USED STILL NO LUCK

Limpy and Watcher - I would imagine that at the moment your internet setting are such that you're using your ISPs DNS Server settings. If you want to view the site normally now, and not wait for your ISP to catch the DNS records as described by Admin, you can use alternative DNS servers such as Open DNS until your ISP catches up.

The Open DNS Servers are listed at the foot of their home page on the right hand side. There is some info on their website here on how to alter your DNS settings - Limpy, I know your pretty technical so I can't forsee you having any problems doing this.

For people using Windows add this line to your HOSTS file.

174.133.5.18 http://www.babeshows.co.uk (make sure http:// is not in front)

Brief tutorial here:

This forces the computer DNS to go to the correct IP address.

I've done this on my machines and the site is now flying like shit off a stick!

Just changed to open dns and like u say all is fine and fast again. So deffo a tiscali prob not updating their cache as yet!

I use ubuntu linux. I just added 174.133.5.18 to my /etc/hosts file with alias of www.babeshows.co.uk and it worked like magic straight away. It did not work with the http:// bit included. I actually did it with the graphical network manager. Unlocked it with password, added 174.133.5.18 and then www.babeshows.co.uk as the alias.

all seems good my end on the forum! woo hoo! tho the chat room seems to have started glitching in the last 20 mins, not auto updating when messages are entered, so 5 mins pass and you get about 20 pop up at onces from the last 5 mins and i've been getting some 400 errors, which are new to me! lol.
