Meet the Press w/Kristin Welker
There were several US shows about Trump's first 100 days, but this, a special with KW doing her interviewer impressions with Donald Trump, probably sums them all up. She brought up Ukraine a lot... Gaza not at all.

A search for Irish roots on the East Coast of India, and eventual interest with revolutionary soldiers at the start of the American War of Independence.
WDYTYA? Ross Kemp
He finds plenty of armed forces stories, and even a pub run by a large family including some ne'er-do-wells (though he never compares this to Eastenders). He winds up at the port of Casablanca and fails to quote from that either.

Fukushima Monologue III
Don't worry if you missed the first two (?), so did I. Matsumura Naoto lives in Tomioka, which was otherwise evacuated back in 2011 when there was a tsunami - he stayed to look after the animals. Time having moved on, not that many folk have returned to live there as the younger ones have settled elsewhere. Naoto wants to restore the old ways, such as renewing a paddy field to grow rice to make mochi, which he does. His best ally is his 84 year old cousin Sakuko, whose thresher he borrows and repairs, she not having used it since the 1960s. Most of the livestock have died too, and the new influx of people are those working in reconstruction, whilst farmers have largely sold their land for solar panel farms. At least Naoto remained hopeful.

Late Night w/Seth Meyers
The priceless John Oliver got things off to a good start, whilst Chloe Fineman hung in there. Later, Natasha Lyonne was a quirky New Yoiker, and Ben Mendelssohn a charmingly realistic guest.

2/4 They check thru Agen, Moissac and finally Toulouse. Moissac gives a chance to hear the tale of how a lot of Jewish children were kept hidden safe during WW2, which gives Dave the chance to bring up how his mother narrowly avoided a fate worse than death at the time. In the next scene, at the local cathedral, Hugh brings up the Santiago da Compostela pilgrimage route, to which Dave goes "I've never heard of that".
BaD - TMoaB
3/4 Less religion this time, as Dave gets a shiatsu massage for his dodgy knee. They move to the Canal du Midi, and wind up being impressed by Carcassone.

Among others, FZ talks to regular big-mouth guest Bill Gates about his wizard new dream of nuclear power.
GPS
Gates is back again to push his wizard wheeze of giving his enormous fortune away, and maybe also commenting on tech and Trump & so on. No word if he'll be giving away the huge amounts of farmland he also owns.

Last Week Tonight w/John Oliver
Looking into the so-called Alliance Defending Freedom, the American pressure group who helped end Roe v Wade, and campaign against LGBTQ+ stuff over the pond, and think "winsome" is the bestest adjective ever.
