Also, now we are about 2 months in to the switching problem, what are our impressions of how often it happens nowadays? I think it still happens but get the feeling it is less often (still too often), but I may not be the one to notice.
Well the channel switching seems to have stopped over the past fortnight, however the return of the "Asset box" today (if it can be called that) is more annoying.
It reappeared for Becky's final session this evening @ 5:20 where it remained for 45 minutes, so, was it successful is the obvious question.
Most definately not...
Hannah was the unfortunate "victim" of it on this occasion & it wasn't until 10 mintes later that she got a call, which lasted for the total of 3 minutes or thereabouts, she then waited a further 20 minutes before recieving another call, which lasted the grand total of 2 minutes...& those calls probably came from someone watching her on her own channel anyway.
I can partly understand the reasoning behind it being done on the Sky channels as you can't watch more than one channel at any one time, however most viewers I'd imagine, do a fair amount of surfing before settling on the girl of their choice for however long they choose. However on a reminder front, I can see it's use, NOT for 45 minutes though.
& perhaps for 5 minutes every half hour would be more beneficial, just as a suggestion.
On the website you (supposedly) know who's on by the thumbs below, if it's updated of course
, so the need for it there doesn't really apply, unless you wish to piss us cappers & the vid makers off of course
As an aside to that, Becky waited 20 minutes after starting that session for a call, a 20 minutes that wouldn't of been without a call had the box not been there, as I'd of called her myself.
So a further lost call & although I called her later once the box had gone, it's still another call lost,
as I generally call her more than once whenever she's on.
I wonder how many other potential callers or regular callers feel the same way about calling when there's the distraction onscreen of something that's there to generate a call & all it does is, stop you from doing so !!!
Anyway, Elite saved me £30 today, thanks very much
...I'm off down the pub.
