I'm disappointed with the French crowds at the Olympics. Supporting your team is one thing booing the opposition is something else.

I'm glad to see the GB men's hockey team make a good comeback against France and their booing fans.

Maybe the Brits should respond appropriately, by randomly yelling whatever bits of French they can still remember from when they learnt it at school

I see that the Italian PM's weighed in the IOC decision to allow boxer's despite being contrary ruling in '23 World Champs's.

It comes after Italian boxer Angela Carini conceded her Olympic Round of 16 fight (after suffering a probable broken nose) with Algeria's Imane Khelif in what has become one of the most controversial Olympic bouts of all time.

It's all down to who is clasified as being a women for the sport. Both sides of the arguements have their supporters.

I think to be honest if she has been thrown out of international competitions the IOC needs to look at this and if further international pressure grows against this result, she/he should gracefully withdraw and hrr italian opponent should be reinstated. There should have been an extra competition for her gender at a single weight class where they don't fight male or female.

I'fd have to say if the booing continues then IOC needs to step in and warn the French committee that the unsportsmanlike crowd behaviour can not be tolerated much further. I'd give the crowd the middle finger if they booed me.

think the middle finger was invented for the french

Wait a minute - that sounds a lot like them asaying that we were cheating in the Keirin cycling race because the electric bike used is british!!

^ And our tyres were too round .. But both of those were from the Tour and not the Olympics.
