Another new girl on the breakfast show this morning, Gemma. Great to see another good looking girl given a chance to shine & make that all important breakthrough. However I can't help but think that Elite miss a great chance to promote themselves in this area, no mention on their schedules of any of the new arrivals has happened, as in the cases of recent girls Faye & Ella May. If it's on their schedule it undoubtably gets posted in the schedule thread in the nighttime section (as that's where more people see it.) I would of thought that a mention would not only help Elite but the new girl as well. More viewers taking a look to see the new arrival, might just mean a few more calls to help her on her first day. It's a nervous time for any first timer & the calls are a big part of helping to settle those nerves, just don't understand Elite's thinking on this one that's all......

Once more I agree with you Rael. In fact I made this point only yesterday when another new girl, Bryoni, appeared.
On a separate point, is this now the norm for Elite to have two girls on Breakfast Club? Hope so.

It does seem a bit strange not to promote a new "product" as it were & it's quite irritating as well. I don't normally find much to moan about where Elite are concerned but this just leaves me confused......
It would be good to see 2 girls on the breakfast show more often but the call volumes would seem to be the factor there in terms of how much each girl would generate. I.e do Elite get enough early calls to warrant putting on two girls. Although Hannah has been fairly busy this morning & seemingly getting busier as time moves on, it's not quite up to the level of calls that say Sammie & Becky generate from the start of their shows, when on the breakfast show. (I believe there's not much difference between them whatever show they do.) Perhaps, a new girl is better off starting with a less popular girl on the phones (NO disrespect intended to any girl) as up against the "big hitter" they would certainly suffer. Yesterday seemed a good combination with Rachel & Byroni to be fair. Again Rachel as popular as she is from her days on Early bird, but just seems to be slightly below Sammie & Becky in call volume. Just my take on it, any other thoughts & good feedback for Jamie.

It's a chicken and egg situation regarding calls. If a girl is on more often, she'll build up a following and get regular callers. Becky is the obvious current example She's been getting lots of calls, so it's good for Elite to give her more work. The recent 2-4-1s may well accelerate this trend (we hope). Hannah doesn't get as many calls at the moment because she hasn't been on as much recently, although she certainly was not short of callers on Friday, and that was with Alice on at the same time.
The Breakfast Club is a good place for Elite to try out the new girls, as it's a shorter shift and there are fewer viewers/callers, so it's not so daunting for them. But they need to be given several shows to prove themselves. There was a lovely girl called Hayley Ann on a couple of weeks ago, but she's not been seen since.

can see why its strange people think its strange that elite dont promote new babes, but i do like putting elitetv on and seeing a new babe that has been not announced

The Breakfast Club is the ideal place to try out the new girls for the reasons you state eagle_si. Elite have already produced one great talent from it in Ashley Emma (now, where did she go!!!!!) & Becky looks to be the next one with increased dayshows but still doing the early shows. Faye did three shows (all unannounced on website) & has now seemingly disappeared & as you mentioned, Hayley Ann. (forgot her ) As you say they need to be given several shows to prove themselves, but 3 shows in Faye's case without any mention of it on the schedule doesn't help that, especially when most of us just want to get up as short as time to work as possible, a little promotion might just encourage a few to get up earlier, or even switch on in the morning, & see what's "on offer" so to speak. Afterall they need the viewers first, in order to get the callers.

Been wondering that too Ally, she's on Elite's website but no sign of her for a month when she last did the breakfast show. There's one I'd definately like to see return, coz she is cute!!!!

Just seen Sammie and Becky onscreen together with one phone!!!
