As far as I can gather from the Bluebird threads, their idea isn't to take all these channels and make them subscription or PPV, but to simply take over the reins. I know they do have plans for some sub and ppv channels, but the ones that are fta now will emain so after any takeover, won't they? Unless I've grossly misinterpreted their plans.

Elgar means free as in independent, not free as in being free-to-view.

I certainly don't see subscription as the way forward for any of the channels unless its hardcore movies they would be showing. Subscription means fewer people phoning and texting so ultimately it would prove to be non profitable.

In fairness because I don't watch Club Paradiso, i'm not really bothered about whether it becomes Bluebird or not and the odd time that I have viewed it, it will need alot more energy put into it rather than the girls just lying there to be able to survive the likes of Bluebird, BS and Elite.

I vote Paradiso to be free!

In fact if necessary I will mobilise support through a covert organisation known as PIM - Paradiso Independence Movement (not to be confused with PIMMS which is I believe an alcoholic refreshment).

Problem being if Bluebird take CP over, then if, as Chilly predicts, (& I concur) they flounder after the initial rush, there may not be enough lifeboats to go round; Bob's pocketed the money & got out while he's ahead & another babeshow sunk without trace........RIP....eekshockedshocked

It comes down to money, ambition and the motivation to move onwards and upwards... If there are no money issues, and Club Paradiso are satisfied with the way things are going, then there is no reason for them to sell up at this stage.

I'm here to help - if my help's not appreciated then lotsa luck, gentlemen.

Thanks, skateguy.

Now that I understand, I can reveal that I voted for Bluebird to take over, for no other reason than because it will force at least some kind of change and hopefully break the monotony.
